4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

5. Data Retention
- Active account data: retained for the duration of your account
- Internship records and certificates: retained for 7 years for verification purposes
- Assessment records: retained for 3 years
- Payment transaction records: retained as required by Indian financial law
- Account closure: personal data deleted within 90 days, except where legally required to retain
6. Data Security
AIIP implements industry-standard security measures including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
- Secure, encrypted storage for all personal data
- QR-code and ID-based certificate tamper protection
- Access controls — only authorized AIIP staff access personal data

AIIP is committed to transparent and fair practices. The AIIP internship program is COMPLETELY FREE — there is no enrollment fee. The only payment students make is the nominal aptitude test fee (approx. ₹99, as displayed on the platform). This policy explains how that fee is handled.
AIIP's Philosophy: The internship is 100% FREE. We do not charge students for learning, projects, mentorship, or certificates. Only the aptitude assessment carries a nominal fee (₹99) to maintain assessment infrastructure. Our mission is to upskill India's youth at zero cost.

3. Non-Refundable Scenarios
Regardless of the above schedule, refunds will NOT be issued in the following cases:
- Violation of AIIP Terms & Conditions or NDA resulting in account suspension
- Certificate revocation due to fraud or academic dishonesty
- Voluntary withdrawal from the internship program (the program is free — no refund applicable)
- Failure to complete the program due to the student's own circumstances
- Dissatisfaction with internship outcome or career results (AIIP does not guarantee employment)
- Disputes raised beyond the stated refund window
4. How to Request a Refund

5. Cancellation Policy
Since the internship program is FREE, there is no enrollment fee to refund upon cancellation. Students who wish to withdraw from the program may do so by contacting support@aiip.in. The aptitude test fee is non-refundable once the test has been taken.
6. Disputes & Escalation
If you are unsatisfied with a refund decision, you may escalate to grievance@aiip.in within 15 days of the initial decision. AIIP's Grievance Officer will review and respond within 10 business days. Unresolved disputes are subject to arbitration as described in the Terms & Conditions.
7. Policy Changes
AIIP reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy. Changes will be communicated on the platform. The policy in effect at the time of payment governs refund eligibility for that transaction.
