About This Role

Great software lives or dies on the quality of its user experience. In this internship, you will learn to think like a product designer — researching users, defining problems, designing solutions, and testing them. You'll build a real portfolio of case studies that hiring managers actually want to see.

What You'll Work On

• User research: interviews, surveys, competitive analysis
• Information architecture and user flow diagrams
• Wireframing — low-fidelity to high-fidelity
• Prototyping with Figma: components, auto-layout, interactive prototypes
• Visual design: typography, colour theory, spacing, iconography
• Usability testing and iterating based on user feedback
• Designing a real product: mobile app, web app, or redesign case study
• Design systems and component libraries

Skills You'll Build

• Figma — Components, variants, prototyping, design systems
• UX Research — User interviews, usability testing, journey mapping
• Visual Design — Grid systems, typography, colour, micro-interactions
• Prototyping — Interactive Figma flows, clickable mockups
• Tools — FigJam, Notion, Maze (usability testing)
• Communication — Presenting and defending design decisions
